La-Lo

LARP (Live Action Role Play) An Airsoft war game which places more emphasis on the players and the story behind the game than the actual battles. Live Action Role Playing differs from regular role playing in that the characters act out physically the personality and the actions of the player they are emulating. In traditional role-playing games the characters actions are only verbally described, where in LARP the player actually becomes the character.

LAW / LAWS (Light Anti-tank Weapon / Light Anti-tank Weapon System) LAW is the name given to a shoulder mounted rocket launcher designed to disable or destroy tanks and other armoured vehicles These weapons usually only require one soldier to be fired. They are light weight and popular due to their low production cost.

LMG (Light Machine Gun) The Light Machine Gun is generally lighter than other machine guns, and it is usually designed to be carried by and individual soldier who is sometimes accompanied by an assistant. LMGs are sometimes automatic rifles (machine rifles) or a medium machine gun with a bipod, a stock or even a pistol grip. Designed to sustain fire for long periods it has neither the range nor the power of a heavy machine gun (HMG). There are some Airsoft replicas of the LMG, but they are hard to find and somewhat rare.

Lo-Cap / Low-Cap (Low Capacity) Lo-Cap magazines hold between 50 and 100 BBs. The Lo-Cap mag is usually part of the original equipment that comes with Airsoft Automatic Electric Guns (AEG). These magazines are spring loaded and their feeding system is very reliable. The downside to the Lo-Cap mag is that they hold less ammunition than the other types such as Mid-Cap and High-Cap magazines.

All airsoft guns have 1/4 inch of the barrel permanently colored in blaze orange
