HOP-Up (HOP) A small piece of rubber installed in most Airsoft guns that can close to double the range of an Airsoft BB. This small piece of rubber is usually placed inside the back end of the barrel through a hole in the top. When the gun is fired the rubber piece grips the top of the BB creating back spin.
