CQB (Closed Quarters Battle) Also known as Closed Quarters Combat this is the name given to battles that take place at close range. The tactics and methods used in these close range battles rely more on speed and aggression, as compared to tactics used on open ground.

Double Action A type of reloading commonly used in Airsoft pistols, although some Airsoft NBB replicas use a double action reload as well. The double action is used to describe the dual function that takes place when the trigger of the gun is pulled. The trigger is linked to the reloading mechanism of the gun which is activated when the trigger is pulled only half way back. When the trigger is then pulled to its furthest end, the shot is fired, thus the double action. The double action gun unfortunately can make the trigger more difficult to pull causing the gun to be less accurate. These pistols are noted for a hard trigger pull.

DPM (Disruptive Pattern Material) DPM refers to the camouflage pattern used on army uniforms. The pattern is used to break up the shape of the human body, causing its wearer to blend in with wooded areas. DPM is the official name given to British army uniforms and is also available in desert color (cream/yellow).

EBB (Electric Blow-Back) An acronym for electric blow-back. This is a type of Airsoft blow-back gun reloading Mechanism. These guns differ from the Airsoft gas Blow-Back gun in that the reloading mechanism is powered by standardized batteries instead of gas. These are low end, low powered guns intended for younger players. Though the slide on the EBB moves back and forth, this is mainly a cosmetic effect.
